Gooror payash is a Assamese dessert, made from rice, milk and jaggery.
Steps

Boil and then simmer milk for 10 minutes.

Add rice and stir.

Heat jaggery in another pan with little water.

Stir till jaggery is dissolved

Let it cool.

Simmer flame and stir kheer till rice is cooked.

Add nuts and continue to cook for 5-10 minutes till and rice absorbs milk completely.

Remove from flame and add jaggery syrup in payash and mix well.

Garnish with fried Cashews and raisins.
