Zebra Cake
Steps
- 1
Take a bowl and add malai, oil and powdered sugar to it. Now gradually pour half of the milk and give them a good mix. Take another bowl and add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda. Mix them well.
- 2
Now gradually add the flour mixture to the malai mixture and mix them well. You can use a blender. Make sure the mixture is not too thick else add the remaining milk to loosen it. When there are no lumps left in the bowl add vanilla essence to it and mix it again.
- 3
Divide the mixture equally into two bowls. Let the one be as it is, and add the cocoa powder to the other one. Mix it well. Now take a cake mould (prefer a round one) and place butter paper on it. Greasing it with butter or oil. Now pour one teaspoon of cocoa powder batter to the mould and tap it. Just above the cocoa powder batter add the other plain batter and tap again. Do this process until there is no batter left.
- 4
With the help of a toothpick, make a line from the outer part of the batter to the center. I made 16 such lines. Now bake this cake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. With the help of a knife you can check if it is baked or not. If not, bake it for few more minutes. Do try this recipe guys and share your views.
