Take a pressure cooker and heat some ghee.

Add cumin seeds, now add dal and rice and 2 glasses water and salt.

Pressure cook it on high flame for 10 minutes or till 2 whistles.

Turn off the flame.

After 10 minute open the lid and add black pepper and serve hot.
