Milk Bread Rolls with Chocolate Chips

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with a little sugar.
• In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and the remaining sugar.
• Pour in the milk and yeast mixture, along with the lightly beaten egg. - 2
Add the chocolate chips.
• Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.
• Add the softened butter and knead again for 10-15 minutes or until you have a soft, shiny, smooth dough that doesn't stick. - 3
Place back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it double in size.
• Punch down the dough and divide it into 10 balls, placing them on a baking sheet. - 4
Cover the baking sheet and let rise for 30-40 minutes.
• Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C), and brush the rolls with beaten egg. Use scissors to make incisions. - 5
Add a few more chocolate chips if desired.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the surface is golden brown.
