Ingredients

3/4 -1hr
2-3 servings
  • 1 tbspVeg oil. I leave this out as I have a fatless Zyliss pan
  • 1large onion
  • 6Sausages, flavour your choice
  • 400 gmsNew Potatoes
  • 150 gmsmushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 pintBeef Stock
  • 125 gmsPassata (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cube or slice Onion and fry in oil. Add sausages and cook to colour outsides, turning. I cover with lid in between turns.

    Cube potatoes and mushrooms and add to pan

    Add stock & Passata and bring to boil. Turn down to a simmer and cover for about 30 mins. Check if potatoes are cooked.

    Take out sausages and cut into slices. Return to pan for 5 or 10 mins leaving uncovered. I sometimes add gravy granules if it needs thickening.

Since I joined ages ago so much has changed. my husband has died and so has Mr Benson my Newfoundland.Now there is just Honey, Golden Retriever, and me. Not done much cooking but just had a brand new kitchen and starting healthy eating again. so cooking is back on the agenda.
