Steps

Wash rice 2-3 times in running water.

Heat ghee in kadhai or pan and saute rice 3-4 minutes to avoid it's raw flavor.

Keep milk for boiling on low to medium flame. Stir in between.

Soak Safforn strands in milk

Boil milk at least 15-20 minutes.

Add rice in milk. And let it cook

Add sugar in it.Add cardamom powder and Safforn in it

Mix it well and add chopped dry fruits in it and cook for 5 minutes more.

Serve it hot or cold you can add any fruit pulp in it (in cold khiran) to give different flavor.
