In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds and pinch of asafoetida. Add finely chopped green chilli and ginger garlic. Saute well for a minute. Now add onions and saute till it turn slightly golden brown.

Now add tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder and mix well and saute till they turn soft and mushy.

Add red chilli powder garam masala powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and mix well. Roast the spices on low flame for a minute.

Add crumbled paneer and mix gently. Cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Add shahi paneer masala and mix gently and making sure everything is combined well and saute few for seconds.

Serve paneer bhurji hot with chapathi or paratha.
