Gulgule (Sweet Pua)
This recipe is my grandmother's recipe..

Fristy cut the jaggery into a small pieces.. Now in a bowl add jaggery and add same amount of water on it..mix well and dissolve jaggery completely.and keep it aside for later use.

Next in a bowl add wheat flour, semolina, baking soda and sugar mix well and add the jaggery water on it... mix until no lumps in a batter..and baat for 2 minutes(add the jaggery water as required to make sami thick batter.. make sure you don't add to much of water..) make sure your is not too much thick aur thin...

Make sure your batter is medium consistency not thick aur not be think.

And mix well...cover and let rest for 2 to 3 hour...for best results...(for fermentation)

After 3 hour.take the batter and mix well and add fennel seeds powder..and give it good mix...

Next. In a kadai add lots of oil for frying the gulgula's.let's make gulgule from this batter...for making the gulgula's make sure you oil is not to hot.

If the oil hot.then add the small portions of the batter (ball sized of the better)...into the oil.and fry the in medium. And fry the gulgula's until it becomes golden brown in colour...

Now your gulgula's is ready to serve.... dust with powdered sugar..
