Ingredients

4 - 5 servings
  • साहित्य :
  • १/२ लिटर दूध
  • ५० ग्रॅम बासमती तांदूळ
  • १०० ग्रॅम ओले खोबरे (नारळाचा चव)
  • १०० ग्रॅम साखर
  • १०० ग्रॅम आंब्याचा रस
  • १ टीस्पून वेलची पावडर
  • केशर काड्या ६ - ७ थोड्या कोमट दुधात भिजवून
  • बदाम पिस्त्याचे काप सजावटीसाठी

Steps

  1. 1

    प्रथम एका पॅनमध्ये दूध घेऊन ते गरम करत ठेवावे.

  2. 2

    बासमती तांदूळ अर्धा तास धुवून ठेवावेत व नंतर ते मिक्सरवर बारीक वाटून घ्यावेत.

  3. 3

    दुधाला उकळी आल्यावर त्यात तांदुळाची पेस्ट घालून सतत ढवळत राहावे. गुठळ्या होऊ देऊ नयेत.

  4. 4

    हे मिश्रण थोडे घट्ट व्हायला लागले की त्यात नारळाचा चव घालावा व सारखे हलवत राहावे.

  5. 5

    नंतर त्यात आंब्याचा रस व साखर घालून फिरनी दाटसर होईपर्यंत हलवत राहावे.

  6. 6

    मग वेलची पावडर व केशर टाकून पाच मिनिटांनी गॅस बंद करावा. थंड झाल्यावर ती फ्रिज मध्ये सेट करायला ठेवावी. सर्व्ह करताना बदाम पिस्त्याचे काप टाकून सजवून द्यावी.

    टीप : फिरनी खूप थंड खायलाच छान लागते. अशी ही नारळ आणि आंब्याचा मिलाप असलेली फिरनी खायला खूप सुंदर लागते.
