Steps

In a pan, take 5 tablespoon of sugar and 5 tablespoon of water, put it on the flam and melt it.

In a bowl,take wheat flour, green cardamom powder and clarified butter and mix it until it starts holding shape.

Now add the prepared sugar syrup in it.

Now knead it well and make small balls of equal portions out of it.

Now shape it as per your choice.

In a wok,add one cup of salt and place a stand or any small plate on it then put it on the flame and cover it with a lid and preheat it for 10 minutes on low-medium flame.

Now grease a plate and put the prepared mathri over it and put it on preheated wok.

Now bake it on the same flame for 20-30 minutes then flip the mathri to another side and again bake it for another 10-15 minutes on the same flame then switch off the flame.

Take the mathri out and allow it to cool down for 5-10 minutes.

Sweet mathri is ready to serve now.
