Blend curd and water (probably equal proportion) and put the buttermilk in the refrigerator.

Take all the ingredients of buttermilk powder in a bowl. Add the ingredients as per taste. Mix well.

Add the buttermilk powder to the buttermilk and mix well with a spoon.

Take a small bowl. Put coal, mint leaves and cumin seeds and ginger(optional) in it.

Take a huge bowl. Put the masala buttermilk in it. Place the bowl of coal over it. Add oil to the coal and cover it immediately with a lid.

Keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.

Now open the lid and remove the coal bowl. Mix the buttermilk well.

Serve chilled.
