Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilly, poppy seeds, sesame seeds,cashew nuts, dry coconut. Once it is done. Cool it and grind it into a paste.

Wash beet root and peel it. Cut into cubes and grind coarsely. This is easy way to grate the beet root. Keep aside

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and few curry leaves. Let it crackle for few minutes. Then add chopped onion. Fry till it become light brown in colour. Then add grated beet root. Fry till the moisture evaporate. Add turmeric powder and salt. Saute it for few minutes.

Add grind paste and mix..well. Fry till the raw smell of masala goes off. Then add little water. Cose the lid and wait for 1 whistle. Once it is done.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves. Beet root kurma is ready to serve with hot...parotas. Try this recipe...
