Ingredients

  • 300 gbutter
  • 300 gcaster sugar
  • 300 gself raising flour
  • 5large eggs
  • 95 mlmilk
  • 1 tspvanilla essence

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 160 degrees or gas mark 3

  2. 2

    Line tin with greaseproof paper recipe is enough for (30cm x 23cm x 3.5) tray bake

  3. 3

    Cream butter and sugar together until smooth

  4. 4

    Add eggs one by one mixing well

  5. 5

    Sieve flour and add in slowly mixing to ensure no lumps

  6. 6

    Add milk and vanilla essence and mix well

  7. 7

    Cook for 25-30 mins
