Always love Banana Cake. For mom, this dense cake is perfect for breakfast, and it's great for picnics too. It's quick to make, no mixer needed, and it rarely fails.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Combine all of Ingredient A or the dry ingredients, and add the ground cinnamon. Mix well. Set aside.
- 2
Mash the bananas. I use a fork, so it's not too smooth, but that's okay. Then mix in the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract (all of Ingredient B or the wet ingredients). Stir until just combined, don't overmix to avoid a dense cake.
- 3
Pour the wet mixture (B) into the dry mixture (A). Use a whisk; it's a bit heavy, so you can use a spatula. Mix until just combined. Don't overmix.
- 4
Pour into a pan greased with margarine and dusted with flour. Add chocolate chips on top as a topping. Bake in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes. I use a traditional oven, as usual, on medium heat.
- 5
Use a toothpick to test for doneness. The result is tall, with a wonderful aroma. It's definitely rich, sweet, and delicious. Turn it out onto a cooling rack. Once it's cool, slice it up.

Here's how it looks. Um.. It's quite similar to the banana bread in trendy cafes. Enjoy trying it out. 😍
