Prepare the malpua batter by taking maida, wheat flour, rava fennel, sugar, both cardamom, grind it in a mixer jar.

Add in 1 cup milk or as required and whisk. Check for smooth flowing consistency thick batter. Rest for 20 to 30 minutes or till the batter turns light.

Now make sugar syrup. Take a pan add sugar and water boil it 8 to 10 minutes add cardamom powder and keep aside.

Now prepare the malpua by pouring 2-3 tbsp of batter in a ladle over hot ghee dip fry in medium hot oil the flip over and fry both sides till the malpua gets cooked completely.

Drain off the oil and dip in sugar syrup. Soak the malpua on both sides for 5 minutes or till it absorbs sugar syrup.

Finally, garnish malpuas with chopped dry fruit or silver work.
