It is the recepie I had tried it for the first time. My mom always make it on karwa chauth. This time I have tried it.
Steps

Take 1 cup of sugar syrup(prepared by 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water) and to that add 3 cups whole wheat flour and mix it well.

Now add some milk as required. The consistancy of the batter should be thick. Maybe thicker than the batter of cake

Now add 3 tbsp of sugar, 1 tsp Elaichi powder and 2 tsp Saunf. If you want you can add vanilla essence but I don't prefer it because I love it's natural taste.

Mix all the batter well.

Heat some oil at medium flame. Now add a tsp of the batter in the oil and fry them until they are golden brown.

Whole wheat puas are ready. Make them on any festival or or any time!!!
