Set pot on fire and pour water. Add a rock of postash and allow to boil. You’ll notice the potash has melted.

Divide the water into two. 1/3 of the water should be kept aside.divide the garri into two too. Use 2/3 and leave the rest. Pour the garri into the 2/3 of the Water that’s on fire. Pound it well.

Pour set aside 1/3 hot water on the already pound amala and allow it to come to a boil.

Pour the remaining garri and pound hard till it’s smooth. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes and serve while hot 🥵
