The semolina and 1cup ghee roast on a medium flame

Heat heavy bottom Pan now add semolina and 1cup ghee roast with stirring constantly till it changes it's colour slightly. You will get a nice aroma of roasted semolina remove it to plate in same pan add remaining 1cup ghee and besan and keep roasting with stirring constantly on medium flame once the besan gets roasted turn off the stove

In sause pan add sugar and 1 cup water and boil Check the consistency of the syrup by taking a few drops of the syrup in a small bowl and cool it down. Then, with the help of your thumb and forefinger, stick the syrup in between them to find out it's consistency. If a single small thread is formed, then it means your one-string sugar syrup is ready.

Again heat the same Pan add roasted besan semolina and cardamom powder mix well on low flame now add sugar syrup and mix continuously

Once the ghee starts separating from side off the flame

Let it cool for 1 hour and make small balls out of it and garnish with poppy seeds.
