Steps

First soak chanadhal (Bengal gram dal) in warm water for half hour. Then grind into fine paste.

Now add onions and other ingredients to the paste and give it a good mix.
- 3
Grease an idli plate and make small balls of the batter and place it on the plate and steam it for ten mins.
- 4
Serve hot with green chutney.
