Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssemolina
  2. 1/2 cupcurd
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1 tspbaking powder
  5. as requiredWater
  6. as requiredOil to grease

    Mix the semolina, curd and salt in a bowl

  2. 2

    Add water to make the thin batter consistency and leave to rest for 30 minutes to an hour

  3. 3

    Add the baking powder, grease the idli maker and microwave the idli for 3 minutes. Tadaaaa.... Your instant plain idli is ready. Serve with sambar, coconut chutney or anything you like.
