Ingredients

  1. 1 kgMutton
  2. 200 mlwater
  3. 5big Onions thinly sliced
  4. 1tomato chopped
  5. 2 tspginger garlic paste
  6. 2 tspcurry leaves
  7. 1 tbspblack pepper powder
  8. 1/2 tbspturmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tbspKashmiri chilli powder
  10. 2 tbspcoriander powder
  11. 1/2 tbspGaram masala powder
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 2 tsprefined oil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the mutton and cut into medium sized pieces.

    In a pressure cooker, heat the oil, fry the onions till they are golden brown.

    Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 10 mins

  4. 4

    Add all the spices, tomato, curry leaves and salt and fry for another 10 mins

  5. 5

    Add mutton pieces and fry well.

  6. 6

    Add water and cook in pressure cooker for 1 hour.

  7. 7

    Relish it hot with steamed rice, Appam or Dosa
