Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsYellow Split Gram
  2. 200 mlGhee
  3. 190 Gramsugar
  4. 400 mlMilk
  5. strandsFew saffron
  6. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  7. Rose petals for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    First wash and soak moong daal for at least 6 hours.

    Now using strainer, strain all the water. Now grind this dal in mixture jar. Do not add water to grind. You may find it difficult to grind it but it will be grind without water, it ll take some time. Gring it to semi smooth paste.

    Heat a non-stick pan, add ghee, now add moong dal paste and on very slow flame mix it, make sure it didnt firm lumps.

    Now on very slow flame continuous mix it for about 40-45 mins or you see ot changes the colors and it ll be very light and fluffy.

    Now, Add some saffron strands in milk and mix and boil the milk

    Now add milk and sugar. Now mix it and cook it for more 20 minutes or until ghee separates.

    Add Cardamom powder and mix. Garnish it with rose petals.
