In a bowl, beat 1 egg with sugar and vanilla, then add the oil and mix well. Add the milk and mix.

Sift the flour well and add it to the mixture along with the baking powder.

Heat a non-stick pan. Once hot, pour a ladleful of the mixture into the pan. When bubbles start to form, flip it over. After half a minute, remove it from the pan and add another ladleful.

Chocolate sauce: Blend 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, and 1/2 cup sugar in a blender until thick.
