Ingredients

15 minutes
4 people
  • 3tomatoes finely chopped,
  • 2onions finely chopped,
  • 2green chillies chopped,
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds,
  • 1/2 tspJeera
  • 6-8curry leaves
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder,
  • 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
  • 1 tspgota masala
  • 2 tspRoasted groundnut powder,
  • As per taste salt
  • 2 tspGrated jaggery and
  • Handful chopped coriander for garnishing

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard. When it splutters add jeera, haldi, red chilli powder,greenchillies and curry leaves

  2. 2

    Now add chopped onions. Saute for a minute.

  3. 3

    To this addd chopped tomatoes. saute for 2min. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and cover it with a lid. Let the tomatoes cook for 5min.

  4. 4

    Now remove the lid. Add masala, salt, groundnut powder, and jaggery. Mix well. Let the curry for 2 mins.

  5. 5

    Switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with chapati.
