Steps

First peel and wash onions and make criss cross marks on them.

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds,let them crackle then add hing and stir.add green chillies and ginger stir for few seconds.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, immediately add tomato puree,salt and stir well and cook until oil comes on surface.

Now add curd, keep the flame low and stir continuously until oil starts leaving sides.

Now add onions and as required water.cook covered for 5-7 mins until onion becomes soft or until done on low flame.

In last add coriander mix well and switch off the heat. tempting onion curry is ready to be serve, serve with roti, chapati or with rice.
