This festival is incomplete without Modak. And what if it turns out to be a healthy option? And all the more good if we can make it without fire?? Believe me it is a very quick and easy recipe. If you have fussy kids like I have, this is a very good recipe to provide good healthy and tasty option. As it has both. Taste bhi health bhi😀

Healthy? How come?
Well the answer is it is 💯 Gluten free + it is loaded with dryfruits rich in protein + it contains very less sugar or you can skip sugar and add jaggery too + it is without any oil/ ghee or butter.

As it is no fire cooking, you can involve your kids in making the same.

Ingredients

10 - 15 minutes
6 to 7 modaks
  • 10almonds
  • 10cashews
  • 2 tbspsugar / jaggery
  • 1/4 cupdry / fresh grated coconut
  • 1/4 cupraw peanuts

Steps

10 - 15 minutes
  1. 1

    Crush almonds in a mixer to fine powder and remove it into a bowl.

  2. 2

    Now same way crush cashew nuts, peanuts, coconut and sugar / jaggery to fine powder.

  3. 3

    Now add all the powdered nuts and sugar/ jaggery again into mixer and churn for few seconds.

  4. 4

    All the ingredients will stick to each other as the nuts will secrete oil and will give binding to the mixture.

  5. 5

    Now divide the mixture into equal portions and make a shape of mountain to each divided mixture.

  6. 6

    Now take butterknife and made some impression on each mountain to make it look like Modak.

  7. 7

    Your yummy Modaks are ready for prasadum🙏. If you like the recipe, please show your love by your lovely comments.
