To make the rice kheer wash and soak the rice in enough water for half an hour, drain and keep aside.

Rise a deep non-stick pan and heat the milk.

Add the rice, mix well and cook in a slow flame for 30 - 40 minutes.

Add the sugar and mix well.

Add the cardamom powder.
- 6
Turn off the flame and serve the rice kheer.
