  • 1 cupsoaked tuar Dal
  • 2 Tbspghee or butter
  • 1Onion chopped
  • 1Tomato chopped
  • 2-3Green chillies
  • 1/2 Tspcumin seeds
  • 1 Tspturmeric powder
  • 1 Tbspcoriander powder
  • Pinchasafoetida
  • 2 tspChopped Coriander
  • 1/2 Tspgaram masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 Tspred chilli powder

  1. 1

    First cook the soaked Dal with turmeric powder and salt & water in the cooker.

    Heat ghee or butter in tadka pan,add heing cumin seeds green chillies, Onion and saute.Now add tomatoes with little salt,red chilli powder, coriander powder and cook until tomato get soft.Add garam masala and pour it into cooked Dal.

    Dal is ready & serve piping hot with chopped Coriander.
