Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  • 2 cupsboiled chickpeas or chanay
  • 1 cupsliced onion
  • 1 cupoil
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 1 cupsliced tomato
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsphaldi powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1/2 tspzeera powder
  • 1/2dhaniya powder

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In wok heat oil and ginger garlic paste and onion and fry well

  2. 2

    Add tomatoes and cook until gravy is formed

  3. 3

    Add salt, red chilli powder, zeera powder, dhaniya powder and haldi powder

  4. 4

    Add water and put chanay/ cholay in a wok and cook until thick gravy is formed

  5. 5

    Lastly, garnish with ginger, green chilli and coriander/ dhaniya leaves

  6. 6

    Enjoy yummy and tasty chana salan
