In pot, add oil and onion and fry until golden brown, take out half quantity of fried onions and set aside.

In remaining fried onion add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

Add chicken and fry until chicken changes colour.

Then add all try spices and mix well. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, green chilies, green coriander, mint leaves and mix well. Cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes.

In a separate pot add water and salt and bring it to boil. Add soaked rice and cook 80 percent and stain.

Make layers with boiled rice and chicken. Add fried onions, potatoes and yellow food colour. Steam it for 10 to 15 minutes. Biryani is ready
