Mix dal tadka is a recipe that has plenty of proteins and tastes delicious. The dals are boiled first to make them soft and edible, the tadka is given afterwards to enhance the taste.

Boil all the five dals so that they become soft and are ready to be cooked. Assemble all the ingredients so that it becomes easy while cooking. Take a pan and heat oil in it. Add jeera and mustard seeds, let them splutter. Add garlic and green chillies and cook them for a while.

Add curry leaves onions. After the onions are translucent. Add tomatoes and all the masalas. Mix them well and let them cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add the boiled dals.

Mix everything well and let the Dal cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Add chopped green coriander leaves. Cook for another one to two minutes

Prepare tadka and pour it over the dal. Our mix dal tadka is ready to be served. I've used the Boil technique in preparing this dal and it tastes really yummy if prepared using this method. Definitely try this recipe.
