Steps

Take soaked gram dal(Chana dal) grind with ginger, garlic and chili.

Add all dry spices mentioned above.

Take rice flour add salt to it, knead it with Lukewarm water. Take ball size portion and make thick puri.Fill it with the gram dal stuffing.

Heat the steamer, put farra in it and steam it for 15-20 mins. Insert knife tip for checking whether it’s done or not. If done knife will come clean.

Your farra is ready. It can be served with shwezwan chutney or coriander mint chutney.
