Ingredients

3-4 servings
  • 1 cupsabudana
  • 1medium sized Potato boiled and mashed
  • 2Green Chillies crushed
  • to tasteSalt
  • LeavesCoriander
  • 1/2 cuprosted peanut powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse the sabudana 2 to 3 times and soak in water for 1 hour. After 1 hour drain the water, cover and keep it overnight or for atleast 6 to 8 hours.

  2. 2

    Mix together sabudana, cumin seeds, peanut powder, mashed potato, baking soda, salt, coriander leaves,  green chillies and lemon juice in a Bowl

  3. 3

    Mix thoroughly. Add few drops of water if required

  4. 4

    Divide into small sized balls & flatten between palms of your hands

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry vadas in hot oil till it gets golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with chutney, yogurt or tomato sauce.
