South Indian filter coffee is completely different than instant coffee even in making and in taste too. To make this filter coffee, there is a special kind of coffee powder which is used. This powder is put into a special coffee making utensil and then the coffee water is collected from it and mixed with hot milk and sugar. This coffee is served in a special kind of utensils and with the help of the same utensils the foam on the coffee is created too.

  2. 2

To make filter coffee, first of all boil one cup of water. Now put the part with holes on top of the part which collects coffee. Add coffee powder to it. If you don't want it too dark then add less coffee powder. Now push it with the plunger. Add boiling water on top and cover it with the lid. Leave it aside for an hour.

Add sugar to a cup and add filter coffee to it. Now add hot milk to it and take this coffee in one steel glass. Now pour it from top to another glass. Repeat until foam is created but make sure it does not get cold. There is a special kind of utensil to serve filter coffee which is available at any shop selling utensils. Otherwise it can be even served in any cup or mug. This prepared coffee water can make 2 to 3 cups of coffee.
