This recipe is inspired by a pumpkin chapati recipe that i followed...i had a pumpkin and decided i really needed to try something simple and sweet with it

Peel your pumpkin and cut into small pieces for easy boiling

Have your other ingredients set aside

Mix the flour, salt, sugar and mashed pumpkin until you have a course mixture

Add water in small bits(as needed) to avoid adding excess flour

Once well mixed add some two tbsp of oil and knead further then cover for 30 minutes

Prepare your working surface and sprinkle some flour

Roll your dough and cut into 3 or 4 pieces

Pick one of the pieces and roll it into a ball like shape before using your rolling pin on it

Sprinkle some oil and cut into 3 or 4 pieces and roll them further to ensure you have nice layers

Repeat the process with the remaining pieces and start to roll in in nice round shapes

Fry your chapati until your done

Serve with ndengu or any other preferred meal
