Cooking Instructions
- 1
Salt your chicken and place in a hot skillet with olive oil. You want a hot skillet so you get a nice crust on the chicken.
- 2
Start to boil spaghetti. And once chicken is done cooking, place on cutting board to rest.
- 3
Using the same skillet you used to cook the chicken, place tomatoes in pan with some extra olive oil. Then add the half and half and pesto. Let simmer.
- 4
Once spaghetti is done place in cream sauce. Then cut chicken and add to pasta.
- 5
Voilà! Enjoy!

I really liked the taste of Chicken Tomato Cream in, so I decided to make a pasta version, adding bacon and soy sauce.Stir-frying the garlic until fragrant, and fry the chicken and bacon until well browned for optimal flavor. It's rather rich, so you can lighten the sauce by diluting the cream with milk (4:1, for example).White wine is good, but if you don't have any, use sake. In my house, everyone is obsessed with this dish. I make it regularly now. I was inspired by my favoritel italian restaurant who serves the best pastas (I'm biased). This sauce is pretty close to their ravioli sauce that I LOVE. I typically make herb chicken or shrimp to go with this. But the pasta alone is wonderful! Ashlee Polhamus -

A simply flavored sauce that our family never gets tired of.Herb selection basics:Basil and parsley have a fresh flavor that goes with almost everything. Use bay leaf and celery for simmered dishes. Use rosemary and nutmeg for meat dishes. Oregano is great for seafood. Change it up and find your best combination of seasonings and spices!More variation examples:Increase the chili pepper to make arrabiata sauce.Add canned tuna and capers, and use oregano instead of basil to make pasta al tonno e pomodoro.Add cubed potatoes to make paste e patate.Add pancetta (or bacon and black olives). You can also add deep fried eggplant or other vegetables as you like.
