Rava idli is a variation of the popular South Indian breakfast of Karnataka made with Bombay rava.
Steps

Heat oil in a pan.

Add mustard, Jeera, when they splutter add ChanaDal and Urad Dal.

Add finely chopped green chilli and curry leaves. Fry.

Now add cashewnuts fry till golden.

Add Rava to the tadka and fry till a nice aroma comes.

When Rava is fried add finely chopped coriander and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Rava Idli mix is ready to prepare Rava Idli.

Let's prepare the Rava Idli using the Rava Idli mix.

In a bowl add the Rava Idli mix, curd, salt to taste, coriander leaves and required quantity of water to get right consistency.

Put water in the steamer and bring to boil.

In the mean time grease the idli plates and place a cashews in each plate.

Add soda bi carb and mix. Pour into the idli plates and place the plates on the steamer.

Steam the idlis for 15 mins.

Rava Idli is ready to be served with Bombay sagu or Coconut Chutney.
