  • 1 cupMasoor daal
  • 1 tspred crushed chilli
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • For tarka:
  • 3 clovesgarlic chopped
  • 1 tspcumin

Steps

30-35 mins
  1. 1

    In a pot add daal and all the spices.

  2. 2

    Cook untill done

  3. 3

    In a heating pan add oil, slices garlic and cumin. Fry until it becomes golden brown

  4. 4

    Serve with white rice and salad
