Italian Pink Sauce Pasta

Firstly boil water by adding salt to it. Add pasta and oil and allow the pasta to cook for 5-7 minutes.

Drain off the pasta and pour some cold water over. Keep aside the boiled pasta.

Now in a pan, heat butter and add Maida. Roast the flour for a minute then gradually add milk and keep stirring till the sauce thickens. Add salt, chilli flakes, oregano and grated cheese. Stir for a minute more and turn off the flame. Keep aside the sauce.

Now for red sauce, heat oil, add chilli powder, chopped vegetables and salt and saute for 1-2 minutes or till the vegetables are cooked. Add tomato puree and cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Now add tomato ketchup and mix well. Red sauce is ready. Now pour the white sauce into it and mix to make the pink sauce. Add boiled pasta and cook for a minute. Turn off the flame and transfer the pasta to serving plate, garnish with some grated cheese.
