Wash the apple.Peel it.Grate it in a plate.

Add lemon juice to this grated apple.

Take ghee in a pan or kadhai.Warm it.Then add coconut powder and sugar to it.Cook it and mix both of them till sugar melts in the pan.

Then add grated apple to it.Saute it for 2 to 3 mins in a medium flame.Add cardamom powder in it.Now cook this mixture till it separates from the pan and continously stir it.

Take a tray.Put butter paper on it.Grease it with ghee.Add step 4 mixture to it and spread it firmly.Add chopped pistachios for garnishing

Cool this tray.Then keep this tray in fridge for 3 hours to set.

Cut the burfi pieces evenly.You can use this burfi for 3 days if kept in a fridge.We can eat this during fast and it is light sweet dish with less sugar,less ghee,no chasni,no condensed milk.Then you can serve these delicious burfi in front of Maa durga as prasad
