This is my mom's experimental recipe which became superhit made from wheat flour and chana dal. Winter special breakfast cooked especially for my family.

Add oil to cooker and heat it.

Once oil is warm, add garlic, black peppercorns, whole red chilli, black cardamom, turmeric powder, salt, asafoetida powder and mix it well.

Now add soaked chana dal, two cups water and mix it well.

After one whistle, cook it for 10 mins on low flame.

Grind the cooked chana dal mixture.

Dal stuffing is ready for making paratha.

Make small balls of wheat dough and fill the stuffing in between and make the paratha of desired shape.

Once the pan/tawa is heated, cook the paratha from both sides.

Our yummy paratha is ready to serve.
