Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cupsbasmati rice (wash and soak)
  • 4 cupswater
  • to tastesalt
  • pinchblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1tomato (chopped)
  • 2onion (chopped)
  • 12-15beans (chopped)
  • 1carrot (chopped)
  • 1potato (chopped)
  • 1/4 cupgreen peas
  • 1 tspjeera/cumin seeds
  • 1bay leaf
  • 2 tbspoil

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat the pressure cooker on high flame and put oil. Put jeera and bay leaf first and then add all the veggies.

    Cook it for 5-10 mins. Put all the spices into it.

    Add rice and saute it for 2-3 mins.(For crunchyness). Add water.

    Cover with lid and cook it for one whistle. Pulao is ready and serve hot.
