Ingredients

  • 2lbs. washed and sliced mushrooms (you can brush the mushrooms rather than washing because they're so absorbent)
  • 6 tablespoonsbutter
  • 3 tablespoonsflour
  • 2 teaspoonssalt
  • 2 teaspoonsprepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoonnutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoonpepper
  • 1 pintsour cream
  • 1/4 cupdried parsley
  • 1/4 cupinstant onion flakes

  1. 1

    With the exception of the mushrooms, mix all of the ingredients and butter a 2 quart casserole dish.

  2. 2

    Alternate layers of sliced mushrooms with the sour cream sauce.

  3. 3

    Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Stir once or twice.
