Been enjoying many iterations of a cheeseball for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years since I was a child in the 70's. Thought I'd add my own twist for this 2020 season.

Ingredients

  1. 2 (8 oz.)Packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temp.)
  2. 1 (4 oz)package of Danish Blue Cheese Crumbles (60 days aged.)
  3. 6medium to small pickled pepperoncini, minced
  4. 1/3 cupthin sliced green onions or scallion
  5. 1 1/2 TablespoonsWorcestireshire Sauce
  6. 1/2 teaspoonLouisiana "Southern Sweet" Cayenne Sauce
  7. 1 cuptoasted chopped walnuts

Cooking Instructions

    Assemble Ingredients

    Chop the scallions and pepperoncini.

  3. 3

    Toast the walnuts over medium heat for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine all ingredients, except for the walnuts, and mix until homogeneous. Gather up the mixture with your hands and shape into a ball. Roll to coat in the Walnuts.

    Cover with saran and refrigerate at least 24 hours. It will get better with more time. Serve with Ritz Crackers.
