A very delicious dessert made with milk and dried apricots easy to make. Good for dawats or any event. It can be made day before.
It's a traditional Hydrabadi dessert.

Steps

Soak khubani in 2cups water over night if seedless than take less time

Apricots swell after soaking, cook them in same water on low flame till tender, take seeds out.

Mash them with wooden spoon coarsly not fine

Again cook with sugar till becomes thick
- 5
Take out in a bowl and add little lemon juice if you like.

Prepare custard by boiling milk, add sugar and mix.

Dissolve cornflour in some milk, add in the milk and keep on stirring till thickens, add few drop vanilla essence. Cool it in fridge Add 2tbsp fresh cream for rich taste.

Assemble 🌺Take glass dish or small bowls like I did, put layer of apricot sauce (save for topping)

Than layer with custard, than cream, than again some khubani sauce decorate with badams,.

We can make with vanilla custard powder but in this recipe I use cornflour. A very tasty and healthy dessert.
