Steps
- 1
Bring the oil to boil in a pan add cumin seeds then let them pop. Add peas potatoes and carrots. Add salt turmeric powder ginger chillies garam masala sugar and citric acid and coriander and let this simmer for 10 mins or until tender add just a bit of water so the veg does not stick.
- 2
Meanwhile take the pastry out the box which I took out the fridge 15 mins before. Then using the paper from the box I placed it on my baking tray.
- 3
On a plate very delicately I cut the pastry into squares. Then placed onto the baking tray. Once the samosa mix was ready and veg was half cooked I let it cool then added the lemon juice.
- 4
Then carefully added mix on to the pastry square and folded this and made the pasty folding carefully a bit fiddly. Brush with milk on top.
- 5
Then in a preheated oven at 180 degrees baked for 20 mins so they were golden brown. Tasted yummy 😋
