Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 500 gmsGajar/carrot
  2. 1/2 Cuppeas/ matar
  3. 3Green Chillies
  4. 1 inchGinger
  5. 1 tbsp Oil
  6. 1 SpoonJeera/cumin seeds
  7. 1/2 spoonAjwain/ Carom seeds
  8. 1 PinchHing/asafoetdia
  9. Spices
  10. 1/2 TeaSpoonSalt
  11. 1/2 TeaSpoonRock Salt
  12. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli Powder
  13. 1/2 TeaSpoonHaldi( turmeric) Powder
  14. 1 Spoon corinader powder
  15. 1/2 spoonGaram Masala
  16. 1/2 SpoonRoasted Kasuri Methi

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash Gajar properly, peel off its skin cut its roots from top & bottom.

    Then again wash them properly so that all of their dirt is removed.

    Then chop them in medium-small size pieces.

    Chop Ginger & Green Chillies very finely.

    Now take a pan, add 1 Big Spoon Oil in it & keep the gas on medium flame.

    When oil gets heated up, add 1 Teaspoon Jeera, 1/2 Teaspoon Ajwain & 1 Pinch Hing in it & let them sizzle.

    When they start sizzling, add finely chopped Ginger & Green Chillies in it & cook them for 1-2 minutes.

    After 1-2 minutes, add chopped Gajar pieces in it & mix them properly.

    Now close the lid & cook them for 5-10 minutes till they turn soft.

    After 8-10 minutes, open the lid & stir them.

    Then add 1/2 Salt, 1/2 Teaspoon Rock Salt, 1/2 Teaspoon Laal Mirch Powder, 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi Powder & 1 Teaspoon Dhaniya Powder in it with 1/2 Cup Matar in it & mix them properly.

    Now cook them for 2-3 minutes till Matar turns soft.

    After 2-3 minutes, add 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala & 1/2 Teaspoon Roasted Kasuri Methi in it & mix them properly.
