Lemon pound cake🍋💛

Pre heat oven to 300 degree

In a bowl Sift flour,baking powder and salt and set aside,in another bowl beat softened butter and sugar till light and fluffy.

Beat egg one by one now add sour cream and lemon juice, lemon zest,vanilla assence and mix well.

Mix half the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix buttermilk and mix well now add remaining flour mixture and mix well.

Pour the cake batter into a pan,grease pan with butter.

Bake for 50 -60 min or until the knife inserted into the cake and comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool 5 min.

Lemon glaze:
In a bowl beat soften butter and slowly add icing sugar and lemon juice beat well until the glaze comes. Creamy and smooth consistency. - 9
Turn the cake over on a plater and spread half of the glaze over the warm cake so that the glaze can soak into the cake

Let the cake cool completely and drizzle the remaining glaze over the cake.
