Wash and soak chana dall for 5_10 minutes

Then pressure cook for 1 or 2 whistles

In a frying pan pour oil. Put jeera seeds, clove and cinnamon stick and asafoetida powder. Then add crushed garlic. After a minute add finely chopped onion and green chillies

Fry nicely. Then add finely chopped tomato. Cook until it's soft. Add all the masala powders, salt and turmeric powder

Add this to the dall mix well and cook for one more whistle

Once the steam is released remove the lid and add finely chopped coriander leaves

Chana dall curry is ready to enjoy with rice or roti
