Steps

Set the microwave oven to 220°C for 10 minutes for pre heat.

Measure all the flours alongwith cocoa and coffee powder. Sift together with a pinch of sea salt

Whisk together the eggs and butter and cream them for 5 minutes. Take care to ensure it doesn't curdle

To the whisked eggs and butter add the sugar and whisk together and add the essence

Now add the flour mixture and mix together using cut and fold method till it is mixed properly. Don't mix in opposite directions.

The batter should be of pouring consistency. If it's thick add milk to get the right consistency. Thick batter will make the cake dry and dense

Grease a tin of your likening I took the bundt tin. And dusted cocoa powder on the sides. This gives it a nice dark colour

Add the batter to the tin and tap it for a couple of times. Then add the chopped walnuts and put it into the oven.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the knife test comes out clean at 160°C.
